I always like to support all the groups and organizations in my local area and here is a great one called Refresh Indy.I’m putting up an email sent to me from Justin Harter about the next meeting and location. Please come out and support the local groups.
“Hello Everyone!
Next month will mark an important milestone for Refresh: we’re turning 1 year old! For a lot of meetups that meet once or twice and fizzle out, this is an astonishing achievement. I’m happy to have continued support from many of you.
So, to celebrate we’re shaking things up next month and we’re moving from our regular meeting location at the RAM to a couple blocks over to Jillian’s. Refreshers Aaron Dudenhofer and Kevin Finney have recently completed work on the Jillian’s website (http://jilliansindianapolis.com) and because of their hard work, their contact at Jillian’s has graciously extended us their High Life Lounge for no charge on Wednesday November 4, 2009 from 7 to 10 pm.
Everyone can order food and drinks off of their menu and we’ve reserved 3 bowling lanes at Jillian’s. The cost per person to bowl, which includes the cost of shoes, will depend on how many people sign up to attend. If we can confirm at least 24 people, we can have three lanes all to ourselves for two hours straight for less than $15 per person. The more we sign up, the less it’ll cost each of us. Since the cost can fluctuate slightly on the cost of bowling, we’ll be updating http://refreshindy.com as more people sign up.
All I ask is that you RSVP for this event no later than Monday, November 2 at 6 PM. Again, the meetup will be held on Wednesday, November 4 from 7 to 10 pm.
To RSVP, simply visit http://refreshindy.com and sign up. We’ll be posting the number of confirmed attendees as people sign up.
Again, thanks for your continued support. We’ll also be discussing plans for our next year at the November 4th meetup, including our future meeting location and projects.
Cheers,
Justin Harter
